Data sources — nine in parallel

FEMA NFHL
National Flood Hazard Layer — official FEMA flood zone designations (SFHA, X, A, AE, VE, etc.) with base flood elevations where mapped.
USDA NRI
National Risk Index — wildfire and drought hazard ratings at the census tract level from the USDA Forest Service.
USGS Earthquake
FDSN Event API — historical seismic activity within a 50 km radius over the last 50 years (magnitude ≥ 2.5), with a composite bucket score.
EPA Radon Zones
Environmental Protection Agency county-level radon zone designations (Zones 1–3) for indoor air-quality risk screening.
USDA SSURGO
Soil Survey Geographic Database point query — soil composition, drainage class, shrink-swell potential, and a derived foundation-risk bucket.
EPA Envirofacts
Five EPA compliance databases queried in parallel with per-source attribution — air, water, waste, toxics, and Superfund records near the address.
ArcGIS Hub
Eight safelisted state and tribal layers: USGS Q-Faults (Quaternary faults), NM OSE iWATERS (water rights), NM SLO (state trust lands), NM EMNRD (energy & minerals), BLM, USFS, NPS, BIA — routed through a same-origin CORS proxy.
NM TRD GRT
New Mexico Taxation & Revenue Department Gross Receipts location codes and current tax rates via EDAC/UNM’s GRT Rate Finder.
County parcel
County assessor parcel records where the county exposes a public GIS feature service — situs address, owner, acreage, and assessed values.

All data is public, federal/state/tribal in origin, queried in parallel. Cached results refresh on a per-source TTL; live calls fall back when cache misses. Built to PRODUCTION-1 spec — real data or a designed empty state, never a placeholder.
